Subtle Bodywork for your Whole Being
nervous system regulation + emotional support through gentle touch & heartfelt dialogue
I offer sanctuary experiences for sensitive humans navigating Life on Planet Earth.
Modern life can be overwhelming. Stress/tension patterns inevitably build up over time and impact our health on all levels.
It is essential that we have spaces and times where we can turn the dial down and let our nervous systems settle into a more peaceful state of being.
My sessions are soulful and centering, primarily utilizing craniosacral therapy to gently release tension and trauma from the body. Hands-on touch work is supported by verbal dialogue as needed, informed by my studies in compassionate inquiry and years of psychedelic space holding.
Whatever you’re going through, you can bring ALL of you to these sessions. Emotions are welcome! Tears, laughter, the full spectrum. You may be processing past or current life events, or simply needing a space where you don’t need to hold it all together or have all the answers in order to feel better.
Let’s bring healing attention and care to the parts of you that really need it.

about
-
We’ll begin with a cup of herbal tea and some time for you to settle into the space and share what’s alive for you.
Typically we spend about 15 min checking in (or more as needed) before about an hour of craniosacral.
While you receive the craniosacral work, I may ask some questions about what you’re experiencing as I connect with the subtle rhythms of your body. Some sessions are mostly quiet, some involve more dialogue.
The experience can be deeply relaxing and soothing. Some people fall asleep. You may feel increased sensation in the body or heightened emotion as things open up. Many people report feeling like they’re in a “dream awake” state.
When the bodywork comes to a close, we’ll gently transition, have a sip of tea and share a few closing words.

Craniosacral therapy helps reset your nervous system to a calmer state, so you can experience deeper ease, peace and resilience.
This gentle and non-invasive is received while lying down, fully clothed, on a massage table.
With a quiet sensing/feeling/listening touch, the practitioner places their hands gently on different areas of the body, tuning in to the rhythms of the cerebrospinal fluid as it flows through the craniosacral system, bathing the brain and spinal cord.
Through deep presence and connection, these waves are supported in coming into a calmer state, allowing for release of long-held tension patterns.
This work helps to retrain the nervous system to move out of patterns of “fight/flight/freeze” and into a more flexible, resilient, spacious state of being - enhancing self-healing and self-regulation outside of the session as well.

Compassionate Inquiry is a therapeutic approach created by trauma specialist Gabor Maté, focused on bringing attention and connection to what’s underneath the stories that we can so easily get trapped in.
As we explore what you’re experiencing in your life, we get curious about body sensations and emotions arising in the present moment and the beliefs attached to them.
Through expanding awareness of where our reactions and patterns come from in our earlier years and making room for feelings to be expressed, we can release old tensions and live more authentically in the present moment unburdened by the residual trauma from the past.

There is no one-size-fits-all protocol - I invite you to trust what feels right to you. One session can do wonders on its own, but if you are going through an acutely challenging time in your life, receiving the work more consistently can help build your capacity to handle what you’re going through.
Just like going to one yoga class can be amazing on it’s own, going regularly will help build your flexibility over time. The same goes for building resiliency in the nervous system (the ability to come back into a state of ease amidst the inevitable stresses of life) — capacity grows through consistency.
-Going through a challenging or tender time? 3-6 sessions, 1x every week or two
-Feeling off/out of whack/needing some support? Come in when you feel naturally called.
I personally like to receive this work once a month no matter what I’m going through, as I find it to be so effective in helping me feel more grounded and peaceful inside and out!

BEFORE: Eat nourishing foods, hydrate well, and if you can, spend some time before the session unplugging from screens. This will set you up to more readily receive the gifts of this work.
AFTER: I recommend scheduling extra time afterwards to rest and let your system settle into it’s newly balanced state. It may be a good time for self-reflection, maybe journaling if that’s your thing…I personally like to have food prepared in advance so post session I don’t need to work too hard to nourish myself.
My Approach // Bodywork As Ceremony
I’ve always found receiving touch work to be a tender and moving experience. It can be so healing to gain deeper access to myself while being supported by an attuned and compassionate practitioner. The way I experience bodywork myself informs how I hold my own practice and offerings.
It can be so much more than a physical practice. To me, bodywork is Ceremony. I believe it’s a sacred act to rest quietly into oneself, receive care from another, and deepen into the felt sense of our body and breath.
My intention is to create a space where you feel safe enough to ask for what you need, to feel whatever you feel, and to know that all parts of you are welcome. I acknowledge that your body is intrinsically interconnected with your emotional landscape, and that you are a unique human being with a million invisible layers. It is my honor to offer a space + experience for all parts of you to be held and cared for. ♡
